Hey Danno -
I went and checked it out - Is that your site? Nice site and forum. I'm really liking PHPBB. It looks like aeriostyle.com uses Coppermine for the gallery.
I'll look into it and what I'll be looking at are two questions:
1. What does it cost (if anything)
2. What (if any) security risks are there
I have to keep my eye on number 2 in particular because I host and maintain a number of corporate sites here.
Thanks for the idea and I will check it out with the idea of possibly implementing it here soon.
Later,

not my site, I'm just a moderator there. My friend David (DavidIQ) pretty much runs everything. It is coppermine, and as far as I know it's free.
phpBB is awesome and is widely supported. you can find tons of mods out there that are easy to install...
i'm not sure about security issues, but we have a lot of traffic and haven't had any concerns (yet)

Re: Posting photos
several of us here are uploading our photos to photobucket.com you have to make an account but it's super easy to use! it makes posting pictures here really easy!John Donohue wrote:I agree - how can we post photos of our cars, parts, etc?

Free hosting..
I have free Fiat related image hosting on my server. The URL is :
http://gallery.italiancarclub.com
and it is open to anyone who wants space. If you are interested just drop me a email at fiatfan@italiancarclub.com and I would be glad to set you up a account (please include a username and password in the email please) and help you get your images on the net!
Also, if your looking for another forum to visit during your day, I host a forum for Fiat Lancia Unlimited which can be found at:
http://fluforum.italiancarclub.com
This forum is open to the public (even guest posting is allowed) and has a garage feature built in where you can share info on your car, insurance, dyno charts, mods, and more. I am currently testing tying in the usernames and passwords on the forum with the gallery site listed above so if you have a forum acconut then , if all goes well, will have a gallery account as well.
Enjoy!
