Test:

Did somebody turn out the lights again?

Glad to see it back up and running.

Site Accessibility?

Post by ventura ace »

For the past month or so, It's been hit or miss for me when I try to access this site. (hourglasses for a few minutes, then says site not available). I don't have problems with other web sites. This note is to alert the site owner and administration, by chance that they may not be aware of the issue.

Happened again last night. No site access. This morning, back on again. Like a flickering light bulb. Is anybody else experiencing this, or is it just my computer?

Same here north of the 49th. Click onto the site then three-four green bars come up then nothing. Goto other stuff, come back and nada. Noticed the past 3-4 weeks only. Wonder if this what I heard about on a radio program a while ago about "site neutality" The server can make various sites load faster than others if they want, something like that anyway,I'm a virtual neophyte when dealing with these things.

our server is located on the east coast, in a high wind area. If inclement weather affects the power in the area, the site goes down. During my last conversation with Evan, we also discussed upgrading this software to the latest version and that could also be affecting access recently.

Thanks Mark.
I understand there has been a few hurricanes/shite weather back east.
Anyway I guess if I can't get on,no big deal I'll go do something usefull (make dinner) The site gets up and running eventually.

My thought was to look at the relability in the server drives. They might be having mapping issues.

sometimes i experience relief (for short periods) if i delete my cookies... but the symptoms are occuring far to regularly for this to be the true resolution.
