rebuilding my "72"

Post by bsx »

I bought my 72 124 spider in 1980,enjoyed the crap out of it until 1991 when life got in the way (wife, kids etc.),pulled it into the garage, drained the gas tank, but never forgot about it. Now 1st is in college and my son is old enough to help me rebuild it. I installed a hydraulic lift in the garage and now am enjoying the crap out of rebuilding it. Running into some minor roadblocks but getting thru it.

Well done, gonna be ready for FFO or the run in Oregon next year?
There are several other events as well throughout the year, kinda depends where you hang your hat.
72 eh,I'm working my way through one as well at the moment, sending it off to the body shop tomorow. If there is too much to bring the car back, mostly front end, I could have some parts available.
Good luck and great to hear the offspring is going to get some dirt under the nails.
