Mine are shot, at about 20,000 miles.
I'd like to replace them with something a little more durable -- from what I gather, there are issues with some of the rubber bushings currently on the market. I have poly in several other cars, including my DD, and would like to do that here if possible to try to gain durability and get rid of some slop.
Any suggestions as to vendors/availability for such bushings, or other reliable bushings for the front suspension?
Many thanks,
Matt

Vicks & PerformanceFiat sell poly bushings, I don't know if Vick's ever changed their design, but some were concerned because of the lack of center sleeves and outer shells, P.F. bushings do have them. I stayed away from poly, because I was concerned with transferring more stress to the allready marginal crossmember and frame rails. I don't know if I made the right decision, the bushings in the '82 lasted abut 4k miles and are now off center and squeeky. I just gave up and bought complete lower arms, because I hear ther bushings on the are O.K. I don't remember where I purchased the bad bushings, but I hope the ones I bought from Vicks and installed in my '72 aren't the same.
