Thanks guys,I have started looking into the mechanicals but I couldnt stand the faded paint!The car seems pretty solid and everything is there.Nick,the car showed up on craigslist then ebay.Because it was so close ,I kept an eye on it.His price and reserve kept dropping.The pix and description were lousy.I contacted him after it failed to seel the 2nd time.He was desperate by then and had to get rid of it due to relocation.So,I made him a very low offer and he took it!You never know!

Hey Craig, that's a remarkable buy for only a grand I know they're a lot cheaper in the States than here, but the only one I went to view (in Marbella) was a rusted load of rubbish, and he wanted 8000 euros for it. That's $11,435.20 at todays' exchange!!! Well done mate
