Hello everyone.
While cleaning up the floor pan on my 79 Spider, I noticed a series of traingular shaped tabs partially punched thru the pan metal angling from the interior of the car towards the garage floor that really don't seem to serve any functional purpose.
Perhaps they are related to the original production process?
My thinking was that if they are not now functional, I'd peen them back up flat to the floorpan and spot weld them before refinishing so as to eliminate one more potential water/rust trap.
Thanks, Jim Hayes
