Apart from my rare air horns (see Guido Perez post) I do have a serious question. I have realized the steering wheel on my car isn't stock or all that common (based on looking at lots of Fiat photos). Can anyone help ID this wheel?

Well duh on me. I googled italv lanti and of course found out what I thought was a logo in the middle is also an O. Apparently this is an aftermarket wheel by italvolanti. Seems nice enough, the horn buttons out on the spokes are a nice touch. Anyone know of anyone still selling these new?

Italvolanti wheels were standard on the last two years of the Bertone X 1/9's. VW also offered the four spoke version for use on the 85/86 Golfs and Jettas. I have a three spoke from a 87 Bertone to put on my 85 X.

Thxs for the 411. I found one of the 4 spoke VW wheels for sale on eBay jsut now from Japan. It is a nice wheel but I think eventually (once all the essential stuff is done, as if that is ever possible) that I'll swap out to a classic wood rim. However, I do like those horn buttons out on the rim when the idoits pull out!
