PAINT IS DONE!

Well it has been a some time but the car is back from the paint shop and I just finished putting her back together this last Sunday.

The pictures do not really do it justice the color is Nissan Daytona Blue and changes with the light. It looks really good!

Bob,that is one sweet piece of work... well done!!!!!
I hope you don't get sore cheek muscles from all the smiling your going to do while driving.

Wow!
It must be like driving a new care now.
When I started looking for a Spider this time, I had my heart set on blue. I got a great deal on my red one, but I still think blue is a really good color on them.
Very nice.

But, I thought you were originally going for a charcoal grey.

Well, I have a great drive all planed out for you. Just up the freeway and to the left on over to Katy to help me bleed my brakes. I had to take off the MC, again, to get the manifold nuts off.

Anyways, it looks awesome. I'm very jealous.

Nick in N.Y. just painted his Daytona Blue.As I stated in another thread,it is the nicest color I have personally seen on a Spider.Nice job !!!

Hey guys thanks it has been fun and now the real enjoyment will be keeping it up and driving it. Katsi yes that would be fun and I am looking forward to it. I'll tell you it was hard to make the decision on the color, I flip flopped several times until I saw the Nissan running up the road, it was a no brainer. Thanks for the kind words they are very much appreciated.

I painted mine Daytona blue too, I have a thread in the cosmetic section of the forums. Mine isn't Nissan though, and it seems a bit brighter. Great colour though I love it!
