Autocross Event in SoCal July 25th

A few of us are talking about going to a autocross event on July 26th if some of the FS guys are interested
in checking this out your welcome to come along . To enter a car the cost is $30 you'll need good working
brakes seat belt and a helmet ! the rest is up to you .

There will be other cars at the event this is not fiat only, but were not the only Fiats that will be showing up
so if you have wanted to participate in something like this here is your chance .

The Location is in Irvine, Cali ( orange county ) one of the guys that has something to do with the events
said we are welcome to join the group so leave your contact info and come on down for some fun in the sun .

Are rollbars required for convertibles? Hope not. Sounds fun!

Convertibles are allowed without rollbars !!!

No Hub caps are allowed so if you have steel wheels the caps need to be removed, i'm sure they will
check for the battery to be strapped down your brakes to be in good working condition and seat belts .

I haven't had time to get the info i've been pretty busy with work next week ill post all the details
as soon as i can just giving everyone a heads up .

I have more info about the event, CSCC SOLO Cal Club Region is hosting this if your interested
in running your car i would register on there website http://solo2.com/signup.asp i was told this
event was the 26th of July but turns out it's the 25th .

The Price
The cost CASOC members $25 (must work
and have joined CASOC prior to 6/24/09) All others, $75. So if you want a cheaper price Register
with solo2 .
Includes 12 runs on a 65 second nationals style course; test area including two slalom runs
and skid pad; all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks .

Time
Tech/Registration 7:00 - 8:30
Course closes for walking at 8:20
Drivers meeting 8:30
First car out at 9:00

Location is El Toro in Ervine at the old Air Field i'll get directions up soon someone drew up a
map i need to see what i can come up with and of course an address .

I met up with John and he took me for a spin on the course in his Fiat, he was a very good driver
after i met some other people who are always apart of these . It was cool i think i'll enter my
car when it's ready .
