This looks like a good picture to start a caption contest.

1. "What do you expect...its the Ozarks!"
2. "What, no curb feelers?"
3. "Are there Texas long horns on the hood?"
4. "Now you can fit a WHOLE body in the trunk, no more seperate bagging."

That might help with the weight distribution. At least they extended the tailpipe to match.

years ago (long before digital cameras) I had a customer that took on customizing his Spider. He added a continental kit, rear fins from a 57 Chevy, changed the hood to open from the front and a giant front bumper to match the rear kit. He also moved the headlights to pods on top of the fenders and sculpted the front doors to look like a 57 Corvette. It was bizarre to say the least

different strokes for different folks.

you gotta admit that the quality of the body work seems more than adequate. took some time and effort to make the modification.
