yeah had it happened a half a second/6inches later, i would've been stuck in the grill of the the Lexus RX that punched my pretty little fiat on the side of her face

and i think it might have 2 layers maybe. the steel, then the factory paint and then the pearl white....

yikes, hope you weren't hurt. The insurance company will insist on totaling it I bet. Fight them!

Hope you are OK. I know what it feels like after having my Spider involved in a head-on last year.

Fight it for sure. I just won my arbitration case for what the insurance company offered me and I got double . . . took a year but I got double. I bought another spider but am in the process of gathering parts to rebuild the one that was totaled. The setlement will help nicely.

Good Luck!

Yes. Now these guys are right, they will most likely lowball you. So fight for a fair amount. Then if you like, make a small offer to buy it back. Imo, this is not the type of car that they have ready buyers for, and it would likely be scrapped. So something is better than nothing. Glad you're ok and hopefully you can save the car.

Glad you didn't get hurt. Looks as though it's only the fender though. But really can't tell from the picture. I totally feel for you. Beautifull car too. Best of luck with the insurance Nazis.

i drove the car down 1/2 mile down to a body shop, it drives fine.... some how... well the steering wheel is a bit screwed up. but it drives.... the engine bay seems uncrushed. the fender stopped before smashing into the wheel well in the inside. even though it's russian steel, it was at least steel.

anyone had a similar accident where the front fender and the door was smashed up? and how much it cost them to fix?
