It doesn't show up on mine. Anybody else see what Mark is explaining?? I went through the User Control Panel to see if I need to select anything in order to view e-mail addresses, but I don't find anything like that. E-mails aren't shown in any of the member profiles either. Is this something that perhaps you have access to as administrator, but is not available to others?

yup, that has been a problem for a long time. we see no envelopes, mark.

sign in with a different user name, something that does not have administrator rights... and you will see that us common folk cannot converse with each other via email

Yes, I can. Thanks Mark! OK, folks, now you can e-mail rather than PM. I think that this is worth celebrating! Going down to the refrigerator to see what I can raise a toast with. Cool.

those who want their email addresses hidden may not be as happy, but I'll see how many complaints I get. As long as it doesn't create any spam I hope it's not an issue. Sitting up here in my ivory tower, I had no idea the huddled masses didn't have email access

thanks mark. that is something i'd been wishing we had for a long time. those that don't want their addresses public, then they can modify their profile to eliminate the address.

Well, here's what I did to confirm. I logged out of the forum and clicked on the active topics view. I can see the envelope with the email address and the globe with the website URL for each member that posted. The PM message icon was missing.

Just to be sure, I clicked on the "POSTREPLY" button and I was immediately presented with the login screen.
