fuel gauge
Does anyone know the resistance between the fuel gauge and the sending unit in the gas tank. Looking at installing an aftermarket gauge, don't if I have to buy a ford, GM or chrysler guage .

Hi Mike would you know the resistance from the gauge to the sending unit in the tank. Thanks Nick
Re: fuel gauge
the resistance varies, that's what makes the needle move. You can use an ohmmeter to measure the range of resistance in your sending unit
