Hi
I thought I would share some pictures of the restoration of my 75' 124. I purchased the car about a month ago and it was pretty ruff to put it nicely, there was even a big dead rat on the seat! It has been a busy month trying to get her back to her Italian glory.I think I have made lot of headway. If interested I will keep posting more pictures interior is being done as well this week.

Very ambitious project, I congratulate you! The finished paint looks terrific! It must feel good to see it come to that stage, and in such a short time too. How come mine didn't come with a rat?

Judging by what you've accomplished in one month, I'd say you have a very supportive wife, given that she only thinks you are crazy! Wow! Please do keep posting your progress - it's like watching those compressed jobs on the TV shows - except you are doing it in real time!

Wow! Talk about a diamond in the rough! Your efforts are an inspiration to all Fiatsi - don't scrap 'em, restore!

Denise, I think he's showing his guide coat using a rattle can. I ended up using four different colors of Sikkens rattle can primer for the same purpose, alternating colors each time. I borrowed a black daubber (that powdery stuff), but the primer was easier.

Nice work, Given the condition of the coolant "T" and the thermostat, I'd be worried about the radiatior. Don't skimp on that.
