Has anyone else been tempted by the deals offered by Performance Fiat bought their lock set?
http://www.performancefiat.com/catalog/ ... cts_id=245
We received them a few days ago and have now finally looked at the locks in detail. The new locks aren't similar to the old ones! The length of the lock column is shorter on the new ones by about a centimeter, and the attachment method (to the door push button) is significantly different (old had a screw and a partial snap ring, new needs a tab of sorts).
I'm expecting we need to return these, but I'm wondering if someone else here might have tried these locks from this source and got them to work somehow.
If I do return them, does anyone know of another source for new lock sets?

Re: door locks
I don't know of anyone with new locks but it wouldn't hurt to ask the vendors just in case. Some have a stash of parts they don't list in their catalog.

PF already responded to my email (on a holiday!), and what customer service! Refund check is already on the way. I'll make sure to call ahead in the future, but they'll likely get more of my business.
