Defroster Vents

Post by jfrawley »

OK, so I need to put one of the defroster vents back on the top of the dashboard. I see how the ends of the metal wire go into the holes to hold it on, but..anybody know the trick to actually do it? 40 minutes of cursing wasn't the answer.

I used a hemostat to grasp the free end while fitting the vent. If you don't have it figured out by September, let me know before the Frederick, etc. County Run I'm doing. We'll install it in the parking lot of Eunice's Restaurant!

Thanks bernie, but three hands and 2 beers later I figured it out. Looks like you guys had a good time in NC this past weekend.
