Anyone going to Oregon 09 have an extra fuel tank?

I just pulled the fuel tank out of my '72 to clean and seal it and it's the nastiest disaster that I've ever seen! There must have been a full tank of gas when this thing was parked 25 years ago and I don't think there is any hope for it. Tanks might be a p.i.t.a. to ship, so if you have one for sale and have room to bring it to Oregon 09, (or better yet driving thru Eureka CA on the way), please let me know. I need a sending unit also. thanks.

I'll check with Alvon when he's done having a blast at Dixie Fiat Fest. I know he's got a parts car, and it may have a tank. If he's got it, I can bring it with me.

I'll have a look at the condition of one of my spares. If I know where to send it in Oregon, I can ship to there.
I picked up the dipstick-holder thingy the other day. Got to Oroville fast enough but I'm the slow one.

Chis, thanks, I'll let you know if I can't find one closer, I wasn't sure if there would be hazmat issues shipping a tank, ( They are getting crazy here, we can't even ship touch up paint without a hazmat license)!

I have bought lots of old cars, but never seen anything like this! I don't think you could ever get all the crud and rust out of this thing.

...and for those of you that don't know, Oregon 09 is Mirafiori's annual camp out at Howard Prarie near Ashland Oregon held July 17-20th. Anyone able to should attend it's alot of fun and a good chance to meet others and see more FIATs.
