Hi Kojo,
I feel the same as you do in the way of having a spider. Keeping it cool and even customized. The question you asked is only a day old. I don't have your answers for you on this one. I'm learning myself. For the ones that would be able to give you the answer are probably busy and haven't seen your question yet. There are other posts somewhere on the site that talk about this subject. I've seen them. I have to disagree with your initial thoughts of the people on the Forum. They are quite knowledgeable and decent people. I'm sure you'll get your answer and I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Good luck. By the way, when you do come up with something. We like pic's. :P

I am glad you are happy with your Spider. We are all happy for you. But to start throwing around words like "dissapointed" and "maybe I was wrong" after posting only 12 hours earlier? Come on. You also asked an open ended question that has been answered numerous time. Just do a search in the user panel. Specific questions get answered faster, like comparing two brand of rims or manufactures of tires.

You know the biggest thing about Fiat rims are that they have to be 98mm x 4. Find those and almost guaranteed a fit. The usual suppliers have them.

I think I should add that quite a few of the active and knowledgeable members of this forum are at the "Dixie Fiat Fest" this weekend. I know from personal experience that when you're at a weekend function you probably don't have a computer with you. Also, I've spoken with a couple of those at Denise's and they're having waaay too much fun to go online! Be patient, we'll be back to full contingent Monday.

I have 14" Superlights on my car, I think the offset is 25mm, Do not over tire your spider or it will ride like crap. These cars were designed in the 60s. I have 185/60/14 tires and the ride compared to an early spider with 165/13 is noticeably harsher

Well I looked at this question last night. It is very hard to guess what you are looking for in an offset. The width of a rim will change the offset number. What are you wanting ? if you want a rim with a dish you will need to get something with a low or negative et number. You also have clearance issues when trying to find rims that are now mostly made for fwd cars which have higher et numbers. Most rims now are made to be mounted hub centric which the fiat is not. Right know I'm running a 8inch rear rim with a et of 15 with a 30mm adapter which makes it a -15et. And no it doesn't rub I have plenty of room to go even wider. The front now that is a different story most anything over 7" wide will rub unless you go with a very low to negative offset. Most of the rims that are 13" and made for the spiders are anywhere from et 30 to 0 depending on the width. So the question is what is it you are trying to obtain. Also adding a location as to were you are located might help as most of us on here are willing to help find what you are looking for if you are local.

hi everybody,
I am also having a problem with offset now. I found a set of 13" minilite rims "cero" offset and 7" wide. I just love them but I am not sure if these will make my tires rub the fenders or anything like that. I do not understand much about this offset business. Any opinion about this guys?
and by the way, how can one upload pictures? I am fairly new here and i have no clue ,
