Bucket Seats

Post by PNWSmoker »

So I'm in the market to replace some bucket seats that were in my Spider. I've been checking out multiple sites that sell knock of racing seats and they are pretty cheap for the most part.

I'm wondering what you guys have been doing for buckets in your cars?... re-doing the stocker seats, putting in high dollar buckets, or going with some knock off decent seats.

Anything feedback or pictures would be appreciated.

new foam for the driver's seat bottom and upholstery from World Upholstery.

It's been about six years, and the new upholstery has held up well. No signs of ageing yet. So far, so good. The whole thing ran about $400 to do.

That looks pretty good. I need to check out my stockers a little closer and see just how bad they are. I think they might be missing some hardware.

racing seats are okay and cheap, but they change the look of the car. Miata, Fiero or Civic seats swap in fairly easily, or redo the stockers

I've road in a car that had Miata seats and they were pretty cool. I'm just having a tough time finding them.
