I just spoke with the news department of Channel Three in the Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo area. Check out http://www.wwmt.com
They called me looking for a Fiat Freak with which to do an interview for their 6pm slot today. Watch and see who they actually got in touch with, as I gave them more than one name. Once the interview is posted at their web site I’ll let you all know; but if you can, check out the taped version on the tele this evening.
Ahh… having an active, up-to-date website for the local chapter has its rewards. Thank you Jon Prisbe and Chris Layton!!
another TV interview

Re: another TV interview
they must have tv in that part of the state, otherwise what would the drooling, semi-comatose inhabitants do all day?
Re: another TV interview
Just saw ABC Nightly News and they showed a 79 Spider in a used car lot to represent the old Fiat and why it had trouble selling last time around. They were trying to start the car and it was blowing smoke like a chain-smoking French Prostitute.
That was a sad and sorry version of a Spider. But they got their point across. I believe it was Indiana or Illinois
Yes, it was RED!
Ted, I didnt know your grew up there, I'll bet you guys had TV and shoes.

be patient while the lead story plays… then listen to Mark Battaglia pridefully (and with reason) talk about Fiat.
if the correct clip does not load, look for the clip titled “Fiat Looks to U.S. Customers†on the menu on the right of the page.
