Does it really matter? They all look just like mine without all the rust and dents!

Good looking car. That PO repair under the carpets looks like something I would do, so don't slam it too hard, although I would have fixed the seat rail. My carpets are coming out soon, and I am somewhat concerned about what I will find, I know there is one small spot by driver's left foot, I can see it from the wheel well.
Keep pictures coming, and give us a lesson on proper floorboard repairs!!

I wouldn't say I'm going to be giving anyone a lesson but I hope I can do a little better then the PO did.majicwrench wrote:Good looking car. Well if you are in WA state and the car is 30yrs or older you don't have to have it smogged. I have removed all the emissions from my 76 and no problem. If you aren't driving it daily you might be able to get collector plates as they are $43 for life no more tabs and just a back plate.

I'm in Oregon and all I know at this point is I have to get the car to the DMV for a VIN inspection before I can eve transfer the title.brad131a4 wrote:Well if you are in WA state and the car is 30yrs or older you don't have to have it smogged.
