Where to buy parts

Post by PNWSmoker »

I've done a little searching here but thought I'd just ask. Where are some of the best places to get part?

Looks like ebay has some stuff but where else. I need a dash, carpet kit, maybe some new buckets, and other small stuff.

Thanks in advance

we each have our own opinions on that relative term... "best" means what to you? quality, price, delivery, service after the sale?

and what parts? no one stocks everything, and somethings CANNOT be obtained new. sometimes used is the only way to go. ALWAYs watch the "for sale" section. Getting a parts car might be a good decision too.

in no particular order, the following are folks that i would recommend if i knew the answers to the above questions:
http://www.midwest124.com
http://www.vickauto.com
http://www.allisonsautomotive.com
http://www.international-auto.com
http://www.funimported.com
http://www.fiatparts.com
http://www.baylessfiat.com

and this is only a partial list of vendors i have used.

I should have used a better word then "BEST". I should have asked where are some reliable places to search for parts. Like I said in the original post I need things like a dash, center console, buckets maybe and so on.

Thanks for the links though.

Very good thanks! Can you tell me about the short shofter Mike? I'm a nubee so don't know squat about Fiats yet.

My primary sources for parts have been: International Auto Parts, Bayless, Bruce's, C Obert(Fiat Plus) and Fiatinc(Mr. Fiat)-on eBay. I also purchased one of Mike's shorter shifters - I highly recommend you get one from him as well!
I sourced my interior seat upholstery kit from World Upholstery (very high quality and great price). I have been very happy with my purchases from all of these vendors. You need to price compare between them - there can be pretty big differences in price for the exact same parts. And as Mike mentioned, you may have to search multiple vendors to find someone that has a particular part you need.
Welcome to the world of Fiat obsession!
