Thanks folks for the words of encouragement. I recieved alot of great tech info here, but your kind responses here have made this the most helpful thread in my time here. It is correct that I could benefit from a cool down period. Truth be told I did'nt pick the best time in my life to try this. Plenty of other stressors as well so when something on the car does not go as planned and time/effort/costs triple it's disheartening. I'll be back soon with some questions about my various issues and hopefully can get it together and salvage some of the season here. The desire for the car is still there. For some reason it just seems like my car even though someone else had it for the last 25 years. I'm going to try my best to make it work. thanks again. Gregory

Gregory,
I can only add to the great advice everyone else has already given you, but I'm going to throw my 2 cents in anyway. Once the Fiat bug has bitten you, it won't ever go away. If you sell yours - you'll just want her back. Over the years, I've owned a whole bunch of different cars and the only two that I REALLY regret selling are a 240Z I restored and a 300ZX Twin Turbo that I personally spent a few hundred hours resurrecting from a life of abuse and neglect. Once you put a bunch of sweat (and possibly tears) into a car you make it part of the family - not just a piece of transportation. Just take a break until the frustration is gone. And remember - you've got a whole bunch of fellow fanatics here to call on!

Just back off for a week or two and don't even think about it  . I know it's hard but just forget about it for a while. Then come back to it when you're fresh and maybe you can see it in another light :?: . I gaurantee that the exact same problem will exist when you return. I still am not able to get a simple thing like brake pressure in a brand new brake system. So, I too am just taking a little break.
