I am picking up my 78 spider in about an hour and looked at another car today for what may be a parts car. It is a 69. The body looks to be shot for the most part, but the driveline is intact, the interior/top looks GREAT and the bumpers are small and in nice shape. Moreover, the 69 is completely disassembled with everything there for $500 negotiable. In the 78 I plan to drive and fix up, the body is in good shape and it runs good, but the interior is rather tired and it has big bumpers.
I guess my question is this: Will the bumpers/interior/top fit onto the 78? I am especially concerned with the interior and the bumpers. Other than that, it wouldn't be bad having spares around to fiddle with and possibly re-sell. Thanks a bunch and I'll have pics of the 78 up tomorrow.
Parts interchangabilty from a 69 to a 78?
Re: Parts interchangabilty from a 69 to a 78?
interior pieces will fit, bumpers will take some fabrication for brackets and front lights
