Boys,
This is one quick and easy mod that you won't regret. It works great and really changes the feel of the car, especially for those vertically challenged (5'6") like me.
This is well worth the money and extremely minimal effort.

Hi Tony,
Think we need another gathering at Mastori's. Would like to look at the short shifter. Advise when you are available. Are you ready to do the panels yet?

Don't just look at that shifter, make him let you test it out!!
Re: michigan Short Shifter
Quick question guys....
Obviously the shifter is considerably shorter than the original. Do you have to lean towards the center of the car to reach the shift lever due to the length change? Of course, shifting to 3rd and 5th the knob will be closer. I like the idea of less movement at the knob, I just want to make sure I don't have to lean to reach it. How's everyone's experience with this piece?
Thanks!
Josh

Re: michigan Short Shifter
Because the knob is closer to the pivot point, it ends up less distance away in 1st, 3rd and 5th gears. So you end up actually reaching less than with the longer original shifter lever. The difference in feel is dramatic. It is much more "sports car like".

George,
I think I'm going to wait on the panels until I get back. I am headed out the May 28th, should be back around July 4th weekend. I'd like to see if we can make it the diner you talked about, in Barnegat Light. I think the wife would like that one too.
Car is running pretty good now, hate to see it sit for a month but I have to head to places hot, sandy, and shitty.
