Matt,
Those rims looked like it got too close to the volcano and melted. Can you say Lava Flow.

Breaks my heart to see Spiders in such disrepair. People buy them thinking that they will fix them up and then get swamped with the amount of repair.

I looked again, I think they're just wheel covers. They have a 5 bolt pattern. The VW bumpers don't look too bad, of course they would look better without all the holes and dents.

i used to have a favorite saying that is appropriate in cases like this.... Ugly girls were created to remind us how much we appreciate the good looking ones.

ugly cars therefore, exist to give us the appreciation for the good looking ones.

those wheel covers are .. in a word .. hideous, and i took a vow not to talk bad about another guy's modifications!

the orange Spider is interesting; can't figure out why he painted everything. Muffler, side lens etc are all painted. Dash is unique, and I like the comment about using Mustang upholstery since it's more classic

as for the wheels, they look like he did a burnout and twisted all of the centers

nasty cars, just right for a young person to buy for next to nothing, and learn about wrenching your own car while they have some fun with it. Far better idea in many cases than signing for a new depreciator 2000.

I dont know why he sprayed the thing in red primer, makes you wonder. The seats of a mustang are a nice touch.

Thumbs up for the Pony interior, seems approriate. Thumbs down for the tail lights, just seems odd, bland, and no imkprovement from the stockers. I hate the stockers too, just it's hard to find something that looks good, and these don't.

Interesting tail lights i think they look crappy and feel sorry for that spider ! its such an
odd " upgrade " for that spider i wonder what the owner thought he was doing ???
I couldn't say what after market tail lights would look better then the stock ones since
i haven't seen any that work with the lines of a 124 ? maybe 69 Camaro Tail lights
would be a better choice orrrrrrrrrr 1970 Mercury Cougar hehe ya there you go !!!!!

I've always thought the early Camaro lights were similar to the Spider lights, and are readily available from the reproduction companies
