During my weekend fix-a-thon (incorrectly labeled by my wife as a 'futz-a-thon') I tugged the little tube attached to my Vac Advance. The tug turned into a pull turned into me holding the other end of the tube in my hand, all full of crud... It had been hanging looses for some time. So I gave it a suck- and drew air- so I got on the phone and ordered a new VA.
So my question is, on my 1981 FI, where does the distal end of that tube attach to draw it's vacuum? There is a nice diagram of the carburetted model's vac line, but not the fuel-injected engine. Does it attach directly to the intake/plenum? Is there a little nipple or something? Or is there a little 'T' back near the firewall (where the tube was hanging)? Does somebody have a diagram?
Thx all...

You'll find the nipple for it right under the throttle return spring, directly opposite the throttle position sensor at the intake plenum. get your needle nose pliers ready to reattach the hose, not much room around the nipple.

I put mine back on Sat. Ron's right fiddily spot, took the larger crank vent tube off and had more room to put the vacume hose on. (long tube under the crank hose tube) used bent tip needle nose.
