Aloha Mark

Post by manoa matt »

Mark, My fiat is going on a diet soon (bumperless) and I need some new accessories (turn signal lights) to go with my new look. Where did you get these from? http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigtimes_fiat/3532561808/ Do they fit within the existing hole or do you need to cut the hole bigger?

Also, I have the emissions systems from a 76 and a 78 that I'd like to send you, if you are interested.

Keep us posted on what you end up doing. All big bumper cars as you know want to go on that diet as well.

Not all!! I like my recent 'bumper tuck' look.If I was going to race it,I might be more concerned about the weight.

Eladio came up with those lights, I'll have to ask him what they came from. I would like the emission equipment though, it will come in handy to keep some Spiders on the road in Cali

the light came from a late 1970s Honda CVCC, good luck finding any of those :|

Did you mean CIVIC? I like the lights because they have that chrome surround that makes it looks like they belong there instead of just some random light stuck in the hole.

I'll have to send you the emissions stuff when I get back from vacation on June 1st. I think I remember seeing a car with an spark plug stuck in the EGR tube on the manifold. An O2 sensor bung should fit in the manifold for the EGR tube, right? I had a brass pipe plug in mine for a while, until I got headers. Luckily I wired to the manifold because one day on the way home it popped out.

I see that you did mean to say CVCC, yes that is a rare car. It looks like the 73-79 Civic lights are the same design.

Same question about the honeymoon when I got married. I'll be in Chicago and Cincinnati, or as we say here: "the mainland."
