Guys....I get it that we have to drill holes in the shock........questions.....
1.What size drill ?????
2. Do you seal the drilled hole ????????
3. Where do you drill ?????
4. What stopsthe lh side or rh side from going in or going out ????? after the mod....

size dosent matter here. you dont need to seal the hole, but you do need to put a self tapping screw in the unit once it is compressed.

Good one ,Matt !! :lol: I used a 3/16 it,and drilled as close to the car as I could.Watch out for spraying olive oil! Once the bumpers were where I wanted them,I used the same hole,and pinned them in place wih a self tapping screw(exactly like spiderrey said).It seems that some are easier to break loose than others.My fronts ,I was able to push in by hand.I had to persuade the rears by gently backing against the garage.Speedracer 'gently' smacked his with a sledgehammer(NY'ers are violent :lol: ),after removing the bumpers.Bottom line,they will move and the look is really good.I got a chance this weekend to compare it with another Spider,now he said he is going to do his the same way.Good luck.
