How many parts would crossover to an 81 ? There is a spider for sale about 3 hours away ( I wouldn't mind the drive ) and not to expensive, about $200. I was really looking for a parts car or maybe another car to fix up once I am done with the 81.

if both vehicles are stock... many.
1800 carbureted verses 2000 fuel injected, so most engine parts won't cross. i said most, but some could, depending on what you need.
brakes are the same, as are front end suspension.
doors are different, but many interior components would be the same...
always, there are parts that the rest of us could use. so buying it as a parts car and selling off the stuff you cannot / do not want to use is potentially profitable.
