Having my newly painted Spidy back and looking forward to putting on all the bits and new sparkling jewelery, my first piece was the rear side reflectors. I ordered new plastic chrome housings from Bruce's some time ago....yep...they would not fit. These lamp housings taper to fit the metal bracket that goes on the inside of the body...the new housings are not deep enough at the thick end to mate up with the matching metal housing. These chrome plastic housings were not cheap either.
I will have the old ones chromed here. As an aside, my rear lamp housings were scruffy and needed rechroming, which I have previously posted questions about options here. I found a company here in Australia that will rechrome for $150 each. Very reasonable I thought. More as I progress.

Yes - please keep us posted, as I need to do something about my rear light housings. I'd be happy to pay for new light units, but I'm not sure which source has the best price - prices on parts like this seem to vary widely.
