Bosal mufflers are made in Kingston, ON and are available through Canadian Tire, PartSource and other chains. I bought one of their high-flow cat's a few years ago, but it didn't pass the emissions test. So I have no long term experience with them. But they've been around a while and CTC doesn't pick suppliers lightly.

I talked to one of their reps at a trade show recently. He told me they make only vehicle-specific mufflers and don't have anything to fit a Fiat that could be guaranteed not to cause a droning noise

We had a Bosal exhaust on our MPV for about two years before we traded the car in. From what I can remenber it didn't sound or perform any different than the stock exhaust that it replaced. It seemed just fine, and came with a mail-in lifetime warrantee against rusting through.

thanks for the opinions.

this is what i found from their website: It looks like they know what they are talking about. the direct prices are high but this are the parts numbers to find better prices on the net from their diistributors. I think they seem to a good option if you want to remain stock.
