max rpm for stocker

ok i run mine up to 4500 rpms not much over that (old engine) what kind of rpms will it muster with out floting valve and venting block with rods

it depends on the condition of the engine. The 2L won't rev as high as the smaller disp engines. My school of thought is the more you push the limits, the less time it will last, so I don't drive it harder than I need to at any given time. No sense in 6500 rpm shifts when I'm going 3 blocks to the store
