I just purchased from Ebay a 1983 Pinin Farina Spyder. Bought it from Mike Lopzonski in PA. Don't buy a car from thise creep. He is a bold faced liar. The pics say one thing, but he lied about all the questions I asked him about the vehicle. Other Fiat owners in So. Cal know of him, so if you see bold Ebay ads with lots of pics, and tons of text stay away.
I will love my Spyder after I fix the exhaust manifold leak, replace tires, alignment, exhaust system, and do some electrical...alll things I was guaranteed were excellent.
BEWARE OF EBAY MIKE
Dave,
I'll have time to troubleshoot that leak with you tomorrow of you want to come by. I'll be putting new gaskets under my carbs. It will be interesting to see how your car drives compared to my '70 (you'll have to do the driving, of course . . . for the next 8 days, that is!).

BTW, welcome to the site! You may have paid a tad much for your spider, but hey -- you don't have months of expensive restoration in front of you like some of us who are working on cars that are more worn out.

My car just made it to Blaine Wa. I am waiting for the Customs paperwork to go through. I drove the car to a freinds at Birch Bay. The car was not in as good of condition as the sell job done by Mike. The car is in fair condition at best. He marketed it as in mint condition. I understand the car is 23 years old, and mostly original parts. I will have a winter project working on some major issues and some minor ones. Can't wait till Wednesday till I can get the car to Canada.
