I wonder if he's legit, a new tranny for $899? A set of bearings cost half that

A google search for this company in Brinnon, Washington comes up with nothing.
I always get spooked when an on line seller doesn't have any contact information on their site. No street address, no phone number, no email address. If something goes wrong with an order, what could you do? It may just be an oversight on the part of the company when they put together their web site, but I doubt that. With so much good history behind our "tried and true" vendors, why take the chance?

This site is from a guy on Mirafiori.com named Val D. (Valdanilov) He is a regular there, and from posts I've read and other's opinions on the site, a well respected one. Apparently the site is a work in progress, with much info/prices that still need updating.

Here is the address: 304840 Hwy 101N Brinnon, WA 98320

Just ordered the front wheel bearing and seals from him. Got a note back saying they will be shipped right out. Also apologized for just starting up and having a lot of sold out items. He said that his stock will come in on April 26th.

He has a trans rebuild kit with all new bearings, forks, syncros, gaskets and seals plus 1-2, 3-4 sliders for 299.

Matt, Pope,
It is good to know that it is legitimate and the skimpy info on the site is because it is a startup. I take back my earlier comments!

Val's been a regular at Mira for a while. I'll take my chances and try him out.

We all know Val here locally. He's well respected & a member of our club. Super nice guy! He sells a few parts and cars here & there on Mirafiori and Ebay.

I've spent time with Val at the annual Oregon Fiat camping gathering (2006 & 2008), and enjoyed meeting him and his family. We've helped each other out with parts and info through the years. I wish him great success with his business! He apparently has good connections with the European supply chain. You can catch him regularly on the Mira forum.
