Re: future project
Rey, if you saw that grisly old prospector dragging a half-dead mule, that was Ron

Re: future project
Denise, id have to say this drive line will someday find its way into another x 1/9. what else could it fit. well not nearly as powerful as my honda setup, its gotta be sweet. i would imagine that i would swap out the lancia 1800 block for a 2 liter spider block using the lancia 1800 head. there are no differences in the scorpion block castings that i can see compared to the spider 2000 block. the passenger side jus uses a mount that uses the alt or smog pump mounting points to mount a different motor mount. that is the only mount on the engine. the other two mounts are actually on the trans. should be fun some day.

Re: future project
For some reason or other, I missed the exchanges about "Ron". Then it struck me. Hey, wait a minute, I'm Ron! Actually, I consider myself more of a desert rat than a prospector. (Or the donkey). However, I can't refute the grizzled part.
Rey, it wouldn't have been any problem to meet up with you. I enjoy watching other people do the work.
