Convertible Top Question

I am installing a new top on my 81 ( I have never installed new tops before ) and was wondering if the new top should be tight on the frame ? It looks like I am going to have a lot tweeking on the frame ?

taught enough to bounce a quarter; but not so tight that it takes two people to set the front bow on the windshield frame.

http://www.fiatplus.com/ Chris Oberts site is supposed to have a good tutorial on top installations. And remember, a top should fit tight in cold weather, it will stretch in the sunlight.
