Awhile back we discussed the rubber bumbers you were looking into fabricating... did anything ever transpire with this, I am still interested in the front/rear bumpers so I may remove the pipe bumbers existing now on the car.

they were/are fiberglass rather than rubber. We have the mold but haven't started producing them. It requires two molds, since each side has the opposite taper of the other. My thought is to just make them all the same, and let the installer trim as needed to match the curve of the valance, or the rear.

I thought they were going to be rubber bumper blocks... wouldn't the fiberglass blocks crack at the slightest touch from another vehicle even it it doesn't damage the metal on the car? Are the rubber blocks mounted to the structure that holds the shocks for the pipe bumpers, if so would any jolts to the car be transferred through the shocks into the car frame?
Does the shocks have to be removed to use the rubber bumper blocks or do they remain?

someone may be making rubber blocks, but the fiberglass units are merely to be legal and are not designed for impact absorbtion. Rubber blocks would require a huge production run to be economically feasible
