Auto Trans. Needed

We'll now I'm in big trouble!!!

My wife has gone ga ga for my new fiat and said either I build another one for her or I install an automatic into mine so she can drive it too. WELL I've found ten spiders I can rebuild for her but none are auto and there is no way in hell I'm giving her mine or putting in an automatic in this one. HELP!!!!!!

P.S I'm in Canada, so shipping a whole car up might be a little expensive but buying a car locally and shipping up a tranny sounds a bit more realistic.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to teach her how to drive a stick? In some other throwaway car, of course

Where in Canada are you ? There were a couple for sale in B.C. all stick though.
Kijiji Kamloops and craigslist Vancouver. Try Calgary as well.
Ital Motors in Edmonton is a Fiat / Alfa goto place, they might know someone from the oilpatch that is downsizing.
Rent a stick for a day and give her lessons or perhaps someone else give her lessons (if you want to stay married)., not sure but a conversion is not just the tranny,thought the rear end in an auto has a different ratio so the spedo might be off a bit. Someone else here I hope would correct me if I'm out a bit.
