I just ran across this pic on Ebay, I'm glad my car doesn't tell me how fast I can go! Really now, what is this for?

My '76 has a slow down light too. Can't remember what it's for, but there was some posting about it a few months ago. Something or other gets too hot, and the car tells you to slow down till it cools off.

I just wish I could find one that says 'Speed Up' to put next to it and hook them up to something that would make them come on at random times, just to mess with the heads of people riding with me.

it's a catalyst overheat warning. Those lights seem to be in demand, mostly as a joke I believe or to frighten passengers

ahh yes the old catalytic converter slow down too hot warning light. (said in my best Maxwell Smart imitation voice) I remember well when those came out, not only in Fiats. Makes me chuckle.. or rather reading this makes me feel old actually knowing what it is.

Mike,

I took mine out, and as much as I like the irony, I'm sure it will just sit in the drawer in my garage. PM me an address and I'll send it to you.
