WOW!!, got so much done. All I can do is show pics
look at the dirt behind the lower fender panels
I figured how to take off the panels, they had undercoating covering the studs in the wheel wells
It looks pretty good. I should have it on the Rotisserie by next weekend.

Here's some more pic's. One more day and I should be putting it on the Rotisserie arms.
Here's the rust I have to deal with. It looks pretty good under some of the coating they initially put on the car. Boy is it hard to get off!
So far I've had a pretty good time. I love these cars.

Great work How were the floors when you removed the tar and crap?
Here is another idea for front turn signals, although I think they are too low.

Hello all. What a time. I got the floors cleaned. I used a medium size chisel and a hammer. It took a while but the determination was there.
What is this stuff like silicone or rubber substance around the corner? Should I put it back after I por 15
Listen all, I'm just an amateur here. So if anyone can give me a list of the things I should improve on the car while it's apart. Weld, brace, or replace,etc...My ears are open.

That stuff is Seam Sealer. It is a caulk like substance that fills in the joints where metal is spot welded together to help eliminate the formation of moisture areas. Also levels areas where two metal sections overlap each other. It is not silicone.

Trying to get the Rotisseries finished. Then I ran out of welding wire. Now I have to wait until Monday. I used solid stock on the brace that holds the arms in the frame. I wish I would have use square stock. I hope it doesn't twist on me. I probably should add a brace to it. Figures, one step forward two steps backwards. When I'm done,I hope the car doesn't in reverse when I put in drive.

I think you should use 2" square stock on the brace also. I too would worry about flex and twist.
