Curly,
What kind of bumpers did you use? That's the look I'm looking for. You have an awesome car.. Mine will look just as good. I'm trying to get it onto the Rotisserie hopefully within two weeks. Pic's will come.

Both front and rear bars are from an 124 AC coupe. The rear one took a lot of cutting, shaping, welding and filling to match it up with the profile of the Spider rear end. Mounting brackets also had to made up and the rear valence panel strenghened where the bumper mounts on. The front bumpers only needed minor reshaping and blanking plates welded into the cut off ends. Of course they all required replating once the fit was completed.azygoustoyou wrote:Curly,

Yep, doing my bit to help the local economy recover after the devestation of last month. I took SPYDUH out into the hills to have lunch at one of the small tourist towns that survived the fires but had been cut off from the rest of the world for the last few weeks.

No side-lights, no badging (apart from FIAT front & rear), but SPYDUH does have a grillspiderrey wrote:...... just wondering, why don't you have a grill?
Stainless steel woven mesh in the top and bottom grill openings, and used in the fresh air intakes at the base of the windscreen as well.

Re: what kind of bumper is this?
My car has these bumpers on her. It's an 80. Obviously the PO was trying to get something similar to the early chrome look but did so on the cheap. The fronts kind of look like fangs. Any idea what these are from. I haven't decided what I am going to switch them to.

Re: what kind of bumper is this?
the front bumper has a small dent where the over rider attaches, but you cant see it when the overrider is installed. it comes with 4 overriders.
Re: what kind of bumper is this?
davidwhitt,
Just unbolt your overriders (fangs) from behind. Taking them off will make your car look a lot better
Rey, Did you have them chromed recently, or did they always look this good.
