Does anyone have these brackets from Spiderpoint for mounting the older bumpers to the newer cars? If so, could you post a picture or a link? I have a set of the older bumpers and would like to use them on my '79. Check out the pics of the blue spider in this link - it's a really clean install and I like the look.

Hey Tappy,
Can we get the stainless steel bumpers from this distributor? What is the price for the bumpers in US? Does anyone know what the shipping would cost. I really want these bumpers. Also, will I have to weld these bumpers to get them to fit?

this what is included :
All bumper items mentioned here available approx. February 2009!
bumper mounts kit for the conversion to the early Fiat Spider models, Included are:
2 bumper mounts each for front and rear,
2 mounts for the square indicators underneath the front bumper (see bottom photo),
2 licenseplate lights, to go into the rear bumper edges,
various bolts, nuts and other mounting hardware

We recommend this kit for Spiders 75 and later (Europe and US)
Order-No: 4029-2 Euro 149,94 =+-190$

i bet they fit for the standard original bumpers 2 I especially like the included brackets because they will let you use the indicators up front , the bumper is also mounted a bit upwards in comparison to the stock -'74 , that way they block of square holes (see forum picture)

If you decide to import them be aware you probably need to pay customs on import on the value , might be a good idea to inform on thet Here in Belgium we have to pay 21% import costs on value +shipping of the item Donnu how it works if you go the other way arround

another remark the ones you see here are probably the same as listed on ebay , If i where you i would go for the stainless steel , as i ve read not so good comments on the chrome ones

i think considered all the costs you better lookout for a decent used set in the states , for the same amount you can these and get them rechromed , and they probably last longer as they are made from heavyer steel . The bracket set i would recomment if you cant weld or like to have it easy and an instand solution to the holes and indicators :)

I'll have to keep my eye on EBay if no one else has them. I want to put the long bumper on the back and the two short ones on the front. I think it looks better that way. Plus I like the idea that you can see the whole grill.
If anyone has a set they want to sell. Let me know.
