1983 Fiat Pininfarina Azurra Spider 2000

Have you seen this fine looking car on ebay? I would love to have the rear deck panel in my car. Does anybody know where to get one and if it will fit in a '78?

That deck was one of the changes Pininfarina made when they took over manufactureing the Spider in 1983. That along with the rear view mirror(s) that mount on non-op wing windows and the center console that comes up to the dash are the three most notable changes they made. There are after market decks available to replace the rear seat, and it should fit the 78.
But, if you put in the deck where are you going to put the 3rd and 4th passengers?

Don't you mean amputee passengers?

BTW who is selling an after market shelf deck these days? daytonaspyder.com is out of business, and I haven't seen one in a catalog.... I know Mark is working on a fiberglass back section.

Maybe it was Daytona Spider I was thinking of. I guess we'll just have to get Mark off his duff.

You can email Bayless to see if he has one. Most places no longer sell any Pininfarina parts if they even had any to begin with. Once in awhile you can find stuff on Ebay Germany. But with the shipping cost it's not even worth it.

It's also just cheap plastic. I suspect you may be able to do you own and it would look much better!
