Inner Rear Panels

Post by Flyingthere »

I have a '78 and am in the progress of working a deal for used replacements. I have been told that the 81 model panels are coming off of is shaped or laid out differently than mine. Can anybody speak to this and tell me if they are different and if so how they differ?

I'm not clear on what inner rear panels you're asking about.

The plastic side panels that would be between the smoking, legless, passenger and the window that drops down with the top.

Yes the shape of those panels did change between those years you have. The difference is that the rearward of the panel shape changed and the front portion toward the door panel stayed the same.
