Fiat Mechanical Parts Guide Book
Fiat Mechanical Parts Guide Book
After I broke into the trunk of my newly purchased Spider parts donor (no keys), I found a waterlogged book published in 1995. It was a Fiat Mechanical Parts Guide (or something like that). It has exploded views for everything on Spiders from 66 to 85, including Fiat part numbers, as well as dimensions and capacities. The book even tells what grades can be driven up in what gear. It is about 130 pages. I thought is was quite a find . Just wondering if anyone has seen one of these before. I took it home and spent an hour on the deck with a hairdryer drying out the pages.

that book was used by Linearossa when they took over importing parts from Fiat. Parts dealers used that book in lieu of microfiche. The book is invaluable, and sometimes more useful than the shop manual since it shows exploded views of everything. Both Bruce's and Vicks used those pages directly on their online catalogs

I bought mine a number of years ago at a swap meet. Mark is right. It is the single most useful peice of Fiat literature I own.
closely follwed by the official Fiat repair manual (though my official manual is for a 1976, and I have a 1974), and the suplimental wiring diagrams

Yep, that's it. Mine is not in that good of condition though. Even the same date at the top as yours Denise, August, 1995. I am going to put that baby to good use!!

I flip through it all the time for parts break down info or to see what's interchangeable between year models. It really does come in handy.

I found one in the trunk of a parts car I bought a few months ago. Great resource. Those books must be water magnets, because mine is all winkled and wavy too, guess I'll have to get my wife to do some ironing. Goopa, once I get it flatened out I could PDF it for you. Send me you email address: matt.scarton@gmail.com

Re: Fiat Mechanical Parts Guide Book
OK, guys I've successfully created a PDF version of the book, it took a while as there are 132 pages. While scanning it I realized the book jumps from page 36 to 55, and my book appears complete with no pages missing. Can anyone else with the book verify this?
I've sent a few of you the book already, but if anyone else wants it send me an email at: matt.scarton@gmail.com Pay pal donations to the same email address are appreciated but not required, I'll still send the book regardless, enjoy.
