dragged home an 84 x today

its not in to bad a shape. been sitting in a wharehouse for 3 years. . no brakes as usual. its gold and brown, factory paint. im going to try and put it together as a daily driver using all the parts i still have from the 87 i just cannibalized. the only thing im really lacking here is a drivers door. will post pics when i clean it up.

i cant say it didnt pump me up on my project with my 74 x and v tech motor thats in the works already. i was actually working on this aquisition 4 days before the article was posted on that dream x. if i can put this 84 back together, it will just be a stock daily drver, extra car.

It does need a little work but if it's rust free, half the battle's won. If it wasn't two tone it could be my Devil X's evil twin!

i found a 3 inch rust spot at the rear or the drivers door sill and at the rear bottom of the drivers fender. its not as bad as it looks. been in a wharehouse for quite a few years. its still covered with dust and dirt.

Rey, it's beginning to look like you can't stand to have any spare time!
It probably will look better once the 1/4" of dust is off of it.

ohh, the memories! I owned that car, replaced the head gasket and drove it for about 2 yrs. Then sold it to a Swedish guy that was here to try-out for MLS when it started. He drove it 2 yrs, then went back to Sweden and I bought it back from him. I was in the process of parting it out and sold it to Ed DeCarbo. This was about 10 yrs ago
