Thumbing through a copy of Ralph ( Men's Mag ) here in Australia, I came across an article about Stuntmen.
Then I looked at the photo in the background and to my horror realised it was a RHD Spider going over the cliff ! ! !
( or maybe it's a LHD and they reversed the photo - check the petrol ( gas ) flap )

Who cares about the safety strap for the stunt man, where is the big pillow cushion for the spider? I like the little caption in the upper right "Dangerous, sure but still better than public transport" What do they mean by that?

Re: Spider over the cliff
I now know that 90% of the time I see a cool old car in a movie that it's going to be wrecked/destroyed. Usually about the time I say, "look there's a (fill in the blank), it get crashed, rolled or blown up. Can't they just ruin the new cars?

well, Trey. if you think about it, most of those wrecks involve fairly new cars of VERY low current value...Or a engine-less hulk that was already in the junk yard with an Earl Shibe paint job to make it look new.
and, yes. that fuel lid looks to be on the wrong side. If that is true, how much else of the picture is faked?
