Fiat Spider Photo Shoot ( 124s are in the light again )

hey everyone


I posted my Spider on Craigslist with a couple photos to sale it . A few days later someone calls me
and says he wants to use my car in a photo shoot with a model for some hair care product so i asked
who was the model he said her name ( never heard of her) asked how much he said the amount for 3 hours
i said " i pretty much have the car sold it wouldnt be enough ill do it for x amount " he says ok we have a
deal . So after that he lets me know he will get in touch the following day with the info etc etc so after a
couple days go by we worked out all the details i showed up on Thursday with the spider in Pasadena once im
there the guy tells me the Girl is Bruce Willis's Girl Friend ( hmmmm ok ) so after about 40 mins of setup
she steps out of the RV they had a crew of about 20 people and all she did was pose holding a gas pump
placed in my car ( maybe about a thousand shoots of this ) and a couple of her checking the oil but nothing
with her in the car .
By the end i was thinking this sux i was very disappointed by now i thought she would of been sitting inside
the car but oh well was happy to make some easy money for 3 hours of my time and that the 124 Spider
would be in the lime light maybe draws some new interest .

Ill post the photos i took in the next couple days not sure when the photos that were shot will be used
or for what Add on TV, Magazine, ?? they didn't tell me maybe i can get some details from Gabriel the guy
that setup the deal . Once i have more info ill post a link for the add or see what we can get out there to
expose the 124 some more .

That's cool! They never want the model inside the car, that would hide the body ( no the models'), plus you probably couldn't see the car either. Remember the Cindy Crawford Pepsi commercial??
On a similar note I am friends with a very beautiful gal who could be a Suicide girls model. She said she would love to take pics with my car. So now I just have to get my friend the photog and her schedules to align, oh and the weather.... and I gotta make sure the peeling paint doesn't show hehehe

Hmm don't know about celebrity i'm sure Herbie the Love Bug has nothing to fear but i feel Blessed
to have it happen to me at a time when things have slowed down with work .

contrast it looks crappy ! plus i didn't want to seem like a poparazie ...

I always wanted a red or yellow spider ! only reason i purchased this 1 was it was in good shape
from the original owner she was moving to france so she had to sell it .

I worked around some of these things and people before your not really allowed to ask them
anything it's a no no ( hollywood crap ) there are rules that even the people working on sets know
about if it wasn't for that or maybe fewer people around i would of asked and i bet she would of
said sure .

a rich uncle i didn't get any of that !
