Weber 34DCS1 Carburetor
I've just aquired a 2nd 1978 124 and it came with a few boxes of parts, including a Weber 34DCS1 carb. I can find almost no info on this carb, other than a refrence that it is a Fiat model (no info on which Fiat model). Has anyone come across, or heard of this particular carb before? I'm curious about gaskets and if it's a good install for a 1800 mildly tuned engine?

Re: Weber 34DCS1 Carburetor
I think it's a carb for the European Fiat 1500 and 1600 Cabriolets of the early to mid 1960s. See this website:

It's probably a pretty good carb for your 1800 spider, although getting the throttle linkages correct might require some work (sometimes the linkages are backwards from the way the spiders are set up).
Finding a rebuilt kit or spare parts might require going through a European distributor of Weber parts.

Thanks for the info Bryan, it's a great help. I do love the part about the "easy starting device" to ensure prompt starting of engine. Lol.
